Jade Berry joined the project as photographer-in-residence during Education week 2014 and for the Restoration day.
Historical photographs of the Quoit have been found in private collections during the course of the project so far. During the restoration phase we would like to re-create the Old Cornwall Society's photograph of their annual picnic taken in 1925.
We held a workshop 'Recording events with digital photography' led by Paula Johnson at our open day. The emphasis was on planning before you shoot, improving composition and capturing the atmosphere of an occasion.
Jade Berry joined the project as photographer-in-residence during Education week 2014 and for the Restoration day. She took part in learning to dig and the educational activities, which helped her to capture the project in a unique way. Below is a selection of her images. We've used her images in our signage, films, app and booklet.
